Boat Trailer Winch with 32.8 ft Strap, 3500 lb Hand Winch for Boat, ATV, RV
$55.90
- Wide 2 Inch Polyester Strap: the strong 32.8 ft polyester strap gives a wide 2 inch grip on your load, feeds smoothly without tangling and is safe to handle without gloves, so this strap winch loads cleanly every trip
- Two Speed Galvanized Gears and Zinc Plated Steel: galvanized gears on a zinc plated carbon steel body shrug off rain, salt spray and marine damp, so this boat winch and marine winch resists corrosion better than bare steel
- 3500 lb Capacity for Boat, Jet Ski and ATV: strong pulling power loads and tows boats, jet skis, ATVs, RVs and utility trailers, so this boat trailer winch and trailer winch covers ramp, dock and driveway
- One Person, No Power Needed: the extra long non slip handle adds leverage so one person can crank this hand winch with strap and hand crank winch with less effort, with no batteries or cords to fail
Description
The Favorite-Trade boat trailer winch runs a wide 2 inch, 32.8 ft polyester strap that feeds smoothly, stays easy to handle without gloves and holds up to sun, spray and saltwater, so loading is clean and safe every trip. The winch itself is built to last, with galvanized gears on a robust zinc plated carbon steel body that shrugs off rain, spray and marine damp where ordinary steel corrodes, and a strong steel bearing that keeps cranking smooth. A two way ratchet with a safety pawl gives you precise forward pull and controlled reverse release, while the extra long non slip handle lets one person crank this hand winch with strap with less effort. Because it is fully manual, it needs no power, batteries or cords and works anywhere, from the boat ramp and dock to the farm or driveway. Rated at 3500 lb, this marine strap winch loads and tows boats, jet skis, ATVs, RVs and utility trailers, so one tool covers the water and the trail.

Great wench
It really should have come with the bolts to mount it to the boat. If you get this and buy the bolts, make sure you get some nylon insert type nuts so they don’t vibrate loose.

Better than expected
I received the winch within a couple of days and packaged very well. This is a two way ratcheting winch for safety to rise and lower my ham radio telecoping tower. It came with a 5/16 galvanized side mounting plate that I didn’t know it had. This winch is great for my purpose with a 3500 lbs. capacity.

Worked better than my electric one.
Loved this unit, I removed the handle and just installed a double nut, now I use my cordless drill to run the unit, pulled a 1500 lb dragster up onto the trailer with no problem, love this thing.

Great winch
This is a very good trailer winch. Put it on my car hauler. Pulled a car up on it and didn’t know that one of the wheels was locked up. And it pulled it up there with the wheel locked up. Very pleased with it.

Perfect
I needed this winch to replace an old worn-down winch on my boat trailer. It fit perfectly, it was easy to install, and it worked perfectly without any problems. Highly recommended.

Good quality winch.
Purchased to be used on a gin pole I’m using to help build a 12′ x 12′ stone “house”. Some rocks weigh over 300lbs. This winch should handle the project with no problem. Looks sturdy and well made.

Managing my dock cables
After a year in the weather, no rust is evident. Having a winch ashore and on the dock doubles my range and adjustability for “chasing the lake.”

Great company to do business with.
It seems well-made and heavy duty, but I stripped the bolt in the handle, trying to secure it. So if you purchase this product do not overtighten the only bolt you have to attach. Edit. They sent me a whole new one.

It works, for now
Purchased this winch to install on my log skidding arch. I tried to look for the highest rated “imported” winch I could get. Had to replace the cable with synthetic line as it quickly birdcaged from a few uses. Now its working with the synthetic line. After moving (1) 2,000lb log the gears are marred and there is slight mis-alignment of the spool.
Update: The seller made an effort to make this right.

Junk - update
Right out of the box the ratchet wouldn’t work, it just kept jamming every attempt at cranking it. After a hour of messing with it the main shaft for the crank no longer turned the gears at all. In the trash it went.
Follow up: I realize that no matter how careful a manufacturer’s inspection and quality control is, it can happen that a bad unit still gets through. I guess I was the lucky recipient of such a unit. Imagine my surprise when shortly after posting my initial review I was contacted by TOOLSAUTOECOM LLC (where the winch came from) and they apologized for my troubles. Now some companies will do that and leave it at that but they also offered to either refund or replace the winch. No questions or return needed. I elected for a replacement and four days later a new one was delivered to me. Impressive customer service!
The winch is definitely heavy duty. The ratchet mechanism is smooth and feels secure. The cable is neatly wound on the reel and pulls out smoothly. The crank is also rather robust and winds in the cable fairly quickly. Some winches will have you cranking all day just to get a few feet of cable reeled back in but not this one. The build looks good and gives the impression it will last a long time. With a large 3500 lb capacity it’s definitely a recommended tool.

Great for raising radio towers.
Tried a different winch used to raise and lower a tilting 40 ft Rohn 25g radio tower, but it didn’t hold up. This one did…works great!

This item arrived timely and in good condition. This winch works as expected without issue on my float boat trailer and 24-foot boat. Installation went well and was without issue. I would purchase this item again if needed.
